Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health, specifically in working with adolescent psychiatric patients. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in mental health nursing, as well as the ability to provide quality care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assessing and evaluating the mental health status of adolescent patients

2. Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team

3. Administering psychiatric medications and monitoring their effects

4. Providing therapeutic interventions and counseling to patients and their families

5. Educating patients and families on mental health disorders and treatment options

6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid RN license in the state of practice

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on adolescent patients

3. BLS certification

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

6. Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and legal/ethical considerations
