Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare team members, and providing education to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and monitor patients' health status
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
4. Provide education to patients and their families
5. Maintain accurate patient records
6. Respond to medical emergencies
7. Ensure patient safety and comfort
8. Assist with discharge planning
9. Coordinate care with other healthcare providers
10. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS certification
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team
9. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
