Job title: Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

As a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician, you will perform various laboratory tests to assist healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will be responsible for analyzing samples of blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids, as well as documenting and communicating test results accurately.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures
• Analyze samples for abnormalities or diseases
• Prepare specimens and samples for testing
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers
• Follow safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (for Medical Technologists)
• Associate's degree or certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (for Medical Laboratory Technicians)
• Certification from a recognized accrediting body
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
