Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. As a CNA, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide essential daily care and support to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with their activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assisting patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate.
• Serving meals and assisting patients with feeding, if necessary.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assisting in patient assessment and care planning.
• Reporting any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Assisting with patient documentation and charting as required.
• Providing assistance with medical equipment and devices.
• Conducting basic medical procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining proper sanitation.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate personality and a desire to help others.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
