Job Title: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse
Job Summary:
An Emergency Room Nurse provides immediate and critical care to patients in emergency situations. They assess patient conditions, prioritize treatment based on severity, and work closely with doctors and medical teams to stabilize patients and ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and triage patients based on urgency of medical conditions
Provide immediate nursing care for injuries, trauma, and acute illnesses
Administer medications, IVs, and emergency treatments
Monitor patient vital signs and condition continuously
Assist physicians during emergency procedures
Operate medical equipment (ventilators, monitors, defibrillators)
Document patient information accurately and maintain records
Educate patients and families about treatment and follow-up care
Maintain a calm and efficient environment during high-pressure situations
Required Skills:
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork
Knowledge of emergency medical procedures

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (preferred)
Experience in emergency or critical care (preferred)
