Level 1 PC Technician (Entry-Level IT Support)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Level 1 PC Technician to provide basic technical support for computer systems, hardware, and software. This role is ideal for someone starting their IT career who has strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (Windows/macOS environments)
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
- Setting up new user accounts, email, and workstations
- Respond to help desk tickets and document resolutions
- Perform basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, connectivity issues)
- Assist with system updates, patches, and antivirus management
- Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 support when necessary
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree in IT preferred)
- Basic knowledge of operating systems like Microsoft Windows and/or macOS
- Familiarity with computer hardware components
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and think logically
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel to client sites with some over night stays required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Work Hours – 11:00 AM – 8:00PM (Hours may be adjusted as needed)
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A certification (or working toward it)
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Internship or prior help desk experience
