Job Description

Technical Program Manager

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive the delivery of complex, large-scale technology initiatives spanning Cloud infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, and Enterprise Architecture. You will operate at the intersection of technology strategy and execution — bridging the gap between engineering teams, product stakeholders, and executive leadership.

You are both a systems thinker and a hands-on operator, equally comfortable discussing cloud architecture patterns as you are managing cross-functional program cadences and aligning delivery to organizational OKRs.

CORE COMPETENCY AREAS

  • Cloud Platforms

– AWS, Azure, or GCP at scale

– Cloud-native architecture patterns

– Multi-cloud & hybrid environments

– FinOps & cost governance

  • AI / ML

– MLOps & model lifecycle management

– GenAI & LLM platform delivery

– Data pipelines & feature stores

– Responsible AI governance

  • Enterprise Architecture

– TOGAF or similar frameworks

– API & microservices strategy

– Legacy modernization programs

– Technology roadmap alignment

  • Agile Delivery

– SAFe, Scrum, Kanban at scale

– PI Planning & ART coordination

– OKR-driven delivery models

– Engineering velocity & metrics

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end program delivery for large-scale Cloud and AI/ML platform initiatives, from strategy through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects to ensure program deliverables align to the target-state architecture, driving consistency across domains.
  • Lead cross-functional Agile Release Trains and program increments; facilitate PI Planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and dependency management.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive program plans, risk registers, and stakeholder communication frameworks for programs spanning multiple engineering teams.
  • Translate ambiguous business and technology requirements into well-scoped, executable epics, features, and milestones with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Define, track, and communicate engineering KPIs and delivery metrics (lead time, deployment frequency, DORA, SLOs) to senior leadership.
  • Manage AI/ML program portfolios including MLOps platform build-out, model deployment pipelines, and responsible AI compliance checkpoints.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate technical, resource, and delivery risks, escalating blockers with recommended resolution paths.
  • Drive cloud migration and modernization programs in collaboration with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous delivery, and psychological safety across distributed teams.

Requirements

MUST HAVE

  • 8 years in technical program or project management
  • Proven delivery of cloud-native programs at scale
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML or data platform programs
  • Strong Agile & SAFe practitioner (certification a plus)
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture concepts
  • Exceptional stakeholder management up to C-suite
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tooling

NICE TO HAVE

  • Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Pro, etc.)
  • PMP, PgMP, or SAFe SPC certification
  • Background in software engineering or solutions architecture
  • Experience with GenAI / LLM production deployments
  • Familiarity with TOGAF or other EA frameworks
  • FinOps or cloud cost optimization experience
  • Exposure to platform engineering or developer experience programs
