Description of Task to be Performed:

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the secure, mission-critical applications that federal law-enforcement teams depend on every day. You'll apply systematic and disciplined software-engineering practices to create reliable, audit-compliant systems that support case management, investigative analytics, digital-evidence processing, and other core operational workflows.

As part of your development team, you will guide junior engineers and collaborate with forensic experts, tool developers, and crypto SMEs to build secure, dependable systems that empower the entire mission's investigative efforts.

You're development efforts will shape architecture, define requirements, and guide implementation across complex enterprise systems. Your work will ensure that mission applications meet strict federal security standards, support privileged-access controls, and operate dependably in high-stakes environments where performance and accuracy matter.

As a Senior Developer II, you will operate as a technical leader, mentoring junior engineers, resolving sophisticated issues, improving system performance, and upholding rigorous engineering and documentation standards. You'll work closely with investigators, analysts, and cyber specialists to translate mission needs into robust software solutions, while supporting modern cloud deployments and DevSecOps pipelines aligned with government requirements.

This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on building secure, scalable systems that directly support federal operations and national-security missions.
