Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise infrastructure and system architectures, including cloud and hybrid environments.

  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning of mission-critical operational systems and large-scale data warehouses.

  • Oversee and monitor infrastructure components including servers, databases, storage, network, and security systems.

  • Serve as the technical lead for infrastructure lifecycle management: installation, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.

  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, DevOps engineers, and Security teams to ensure compliance with performance, scalability, and cybersecurity standards.

  • Lead the development and implementation of automation scripts, monitoring tools, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.

  • Manage system incidents and problem resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.

  • Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure strategies aligned with enterprise data and analytics objectives.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and diagrams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading architectural design and system implementation for large-scale data warehouse environments.

  • Demonstrated leadership and hands-on experience in system architecture, operations engineering, and infrastructure support.

  • Professional certification in at least one of the following areas: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apache Spark, Big Data, Databricks, or Oracle.

  • Strong proficiency with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware), and cloud infrastructure tools.

  • Solid understanding of Agile practices in infrastructure and DevOps contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems Engineering.

  • Hands-on experience managing cloud-native services in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).

  • Experience with data infrastructure security controls and compliance standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST 800-53.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and interface with senior stakeholders.
