Analog Technologies, part of Tide Rock’s growing EMS platform, is hiring a Purchasing Manager to lead and improve the purchasing function at its Burnsville, MN facility.
Analog is a high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing services business supporting complex, high-reliability applications across aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, instrumentation, and related markets. The company’s capabilities include PCBA, box build, NPI, testing, materials management, lifecycle management, and product traceability.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands electronics purchasing and wants to help scale a growing business. The right person will lead a small buying team, stay close to day-to-day component sourcing, and help move the organization from a reactive purchasing model to a more proactive, disciplined, and scalable supply chain function.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of buyers
- Own purchasing execution for electronic components, PCBA materials, and related production needs
- Support sourcing for new product introductions and parts that have not been purchased before
- Partner with site leadership and supply chain leadership to improve purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory decision-making
- Help establish scalable buying practices, supplier KPIs, and purchasing controls across the business
- Balance production readiness with cost, cash flow, inventory risk, and customer commitments
- Participate in site-level leadership discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in electronics purchasing, ideally within PCBA, EMS, or electronic contract manufacturing
- Strong understanding of electronic components, supplier constraints, lead times, and sourcing risk
- Experience supporting NPI sourcing or new component sourcing
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or supervising buyers
- Ability to challenge legacy processes respectfully and bring structure to a long-tenured team
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with operations, production, engineering, and leadership
- Experience in highly regulated markets such as aerospace, defense, medical device, or industrial electronics is strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Burnsville, MN
