What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Services Supervisor position at Anakeesta?
Anakeesta is seeking a Park Services Supervisor that is responsible for developing and leading the Park Services team to ensure proper safety, staffing, park cleanliness, restroom cleanliness, and guest service standards are being met.
Responsibilities
- Promote a positive culture within the department and leading through example
- Consistent focus on coaching and development of team members within the department
- Provide in the-moment coaching/training to team members to achieve efficient and effective operations, guest service, general standards, and teamwork
- Assist with employee hiring and counseling
- Create and maintain schedules within the department and verifying timesheets
- Maintains chemical and material cleaning product inventory for the entire mountain
- Provides quality control checks for all areas to make sure that team members are meeting expectations
- Ensures areas are properly stocked with cleaning supplies including mops, sponges, disinfectants, as necessary to clean and sanitize each area of the park
- Ensures trash cans are emptied, and restrooms and walkways are free of any trash or debris
- Ensure Park Services team members are properly and thoroughly cleaning all restrooms including the toilets, sinks, floors, dispensers, etc.
- Cleans offices by vacuuming floors, carpets, and sweeping, dusts all desks, tables, lamps, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
- 18 years of age or older
- Proficient communication skills
- Must be able to adjust to outside temperatures, working in all weather conditions
- Supervisory experience in theme park/attraction operations and/or hospitality is preferred
- Experience as a custodian in office buildings, hotels, motels, or other establishments
- Knowledge of chemicals and cleaning supplies
- Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to complete driver training with a successful test
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl
- Must be able to move trash carts and toss trash bags overhead into dumpsters
- Must be able to maneuver stairs while carrying mop buckets and supplies
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground
