Fleet Manager
Location: Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge, TN
Job Summary
Revel Group is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fleet department, ensuring that all park vehicles, transportation, and heavy equipment are safe, well-maintained, and guest-ready. This leadership role is responsible for managing the fleet team, coordinating maintenance schedules, ordering parts, controlling inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.
The Fleet Manager works closely with the Maintenance Department, operations teams, and external vendors to maintain vehicle readiness, operational efficiency, and a professional fleet appearance.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations & Maintenance

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of all park vehicles, transportation equipment, and heavy machinery.

Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules to ensure fleet safety and reliability.

Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are clean, detailed, and in top condition.

Coordinate vehicle service with internal mechanics and external vendors as needed.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vehicle usage.

Keep parts on hand for expedited repairs while controlling levels of cost.
Team Leadership & Development

Supervise, mentor, and schedule Fleet Techs, Fleet Detailers, and other fleet staff.

Drive to improve processes and ways of working more efficiently.

Assign work priorities, daily tasks, and specialty projects for the fleet team including the parking areas for all fleets.

Monitors driver training and employee documents as needed for the program, audits the vehicle program regularly and reports to Director of Facilities Maintenance on financial impact of the program.

Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support professional development of staff.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within the fleet department.
Compliance & Safety

Maintains, monitors, and manages vehicle titles, registration, etc.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local vehicle regulations, safety standards, and park policies.

Monitor and enforce proper use of fleet vehicles, safety equipment, and operational protocols.

Conduct regular safety inspections and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Provide Fleet Techs with appropriate training and support.
Inventory & Resource Management

Maintain inventory of fleet-related supplies, including detailing and maintenance materials.

Assists with receiving and distribution of new vehicles.

Coordinate procurement and ordering of parts, tools, and supplies within budget guidelines.

Oversight of vendor invoices for payment to accounts payable.

Monitor fuel usage, vehicle assignments, and operational efficiency.
Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Special Events teams to support park-wide initiatives.

Report fleet status, maintenance activities, and operational issues to the Director of Facilities Maintenance.

Provide recommendations for fleet upgrades, replacement schedules, and budget planning.

Be the subject matter expert to provide oversight and guidance for vehicle usage tracking, reporting, and approval processes to develop cost effective and efficient programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in automotive/vehicle maintenance preferred.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, or related roles; supervisory experience preferred.
Hands-on knowledge of vehicle maintenance, detailing, and repair processes.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in outdoor environments, including all weather conditions.
Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with heavier items as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods.
Comfortable working at heights and in rough or varying weather conditions.
