What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Analyst position at Ana-Data Consulting Inc?
Under the direct supervision of Project Manager, analyze user requirements, procedures and problems to automate processing and improve existing computer system. Formulate plans outlining steps required for programs using structured analysis in addition to preparing flowcharts and diagrams to convert project specifications into detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into languages processed by computers. Provide assistance to project manager in documentation of major applications, project planning, goal setting, and execution strategies. Review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. Analyze user feedback, requirements, systems procedures and problems. Monitor and oversee the implementation of required software and hardware components. Monitor initial use of the software and systems to ensure functionality per project objectives. Work closely with business analysts, business partners and technical team members to understand business and technical requirements. Experience must include: SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, UNIX, Java, J2EE, XML, Javascript, AWS (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, Kibana).MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Business Administration, Engineering (Any) or related with 1 year of relevant IT experience as a Computer / Engineering Professional. In lieu of the above, will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Business Administration, Engineering (Any) or related with 5 years of progressive IT experience as a Computer / Engineering Professional.
