You’ll work closely with machine learning, perception, and data infrastructure teams to build scalable backend systems, support experimentation, and ensure seamless integration with existing data and labeling workflows.The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with experience building data-intensive systems, integrating machine learning services, and supporting production-scale pipelines. They enjoy working at the intersection of software engineering, machine learning, and data infrastructure.As a Software Engineer, Perception Attributes Auto-Labeling Pipeline, you'll:Build and maintain auto-labeling pipelines that ingest annotation tasks, dispatch requests to foundation model APIs, process structured outputs, and return pre-labels to labeling workflows.Develop monitoring and observability solutions that track latency, model costs, attribute coverage, system health, and error conditions.Support machine learning experimentation by preparing datasets, executing evaluation workflows, and collecting outputs for analysis.Partner with perception, machine learning, and data infrastructure teams to integrate pipeline components with existing systems and services.Develop scalable backend services and data processing workflows that support high-volume annotation and machine learning operations.Troubleshoot pipeline issues, optimize system performance, and improve operational reliability.Document system architecture, operational procedures, and best practices to support long-term maintainability.Create runbooks and operational documentation to ensure successful knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
