HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Fleet Support Engineer to be actively engaged in the operational uptime of the company fleet.In this role, you’ll support the operational uptime of the autonomous vehicle fleet by providing real-time technical support, performing root cause analysis, and developing diagnostic procedures for sensor-related issues.The ideal candidate is a technically strong problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates effectively across teams, and takes ownership of documenting and resolving complex hardware and software issues.As Fleet Support Engineer, you'll:Act as the point of contact for real-time escalation from technicians on fleet issues with a focus on restoring vehicle uptime quickly.Document, amend, and maintain a troubleshooting guide for all technicians to use as faults are diagnosed or resolved, including lessons learned from post-incident reviews.Establish diagnostic procedures to expedite troubleshooting in the future and reduce mean time to repair (MTTR).Provide historical review of vehicle/fleet data, parsing/interpreting vehicle logs and their physical implications.Work with engineering design to improve tooling and detection of issues.Work to implement effective countermeasures across the fleet following field recovery.Define/capture required data points to validate issue resolution.Occasionally travel within the U.S. to support various operational locations.
