What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Cloud Architect position at Amtex Systems Inc?
Seeking a Cloud Architect with a strong systems/infrastructure background to lead the modernization of their Microsoft environment
Required Experience:
- Cloud Architect with previous hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong Microsoft Azure architecture and engineering experience
- Experience modernizing enterprise infrastructure rather than simply maintaining cloud environments
- Experience migrating workloads from traditional infrastructure or Azure IaaS to Azure PaaS
- Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 experience
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience supporting Tier 3 infrastructure escalations
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, DNS, IIS, and hybrid Microsoft environments
Preferred Background:
- Experience supporting large, multi-site enterprise environments
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or other Infrastructure as Code tools
- Microsoft Azure certifications
- Familiarity with NIST, PCI, or similar security frameworks
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise infrastructure integrations
