What are the responsibilities and job description for the Citrix Engineer position at Amtex Systems Inc?
Title: Citrix Engineer
Location: Long Island City Queens NY
Duration: Indefinite
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
• Maintains and supports existing Citrix environment consist of Xenapp 7 and NetScaler
• Upgrade existing Citrix environment to Citrix SaSS infrastructure
• Deploy and support applications to the Citrix environment.
• Manage and participate in the daily remote user support.
• Performs periodic assessment and provide management with recommendations for upgrades and
maintenance ensure the system is running optimally.
• Work with other team members to support and improve remote field site operation.
• Follow and enforce IT policies and procedures.
• Efficiently manage daily work queue.
Requirements:
• 5 years of technical experience with Citrix Xenapp, StoreFront and Citrix Web Interface
• Experience with Netscaler appliance
• Experience with Windows Powershell scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft Terminal Server and Operating System
• Experience with Windows GPO and registry
• Experience with enterprise software distribution.
• Experience in support role for Citrix or remote related services.
• Strong Written and Verbal Communications
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop is a plus.
