AI / GenAI Engineer In Albany, NY - Hybrid - Locals Only

Role : AI / GenAI Engineer (Google Cloud Platform & Conversational AI)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 1 Year (Long-Term Contract)

We are seeking an experienced AI / GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have expertise in Dialogflow, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Generative AI, and cloud-native application development.

• Design and develop conversational AI solutions using Dialogflow CX/ES.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and JavaScript.
• Deploy AI/ML models and integrate them into production applications.
• Build cloud-native AI solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Looker.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams.
• Optimize AI applications for scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Hands-on experience with Dialogflow (CX preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI and RAG architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with Vertex AI or AI/ML model deployment.
• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Looker or similar BI tools.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• LangChain.
• Vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.).
• NLP and Conversational AI.
• Data engineering and data pipelines.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Cloud Security and IAM.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field (preferred).
