MIG & TIG Welder (1st Shift)

• Schedule: Mon to Fri, 7 AM – 3:30 PM  overtime (Sat, 7AM–12PM as needed) 
• Length of assignment: Contract  
• Rate: $23 - $28 per hour 
• Job Type: Full-Time 

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You’ll work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, producing quality welds based on blueprints and specifications. 

This is a great opportunity for a welder who is confident with both TIG and MIG and enjoys hands-on work where quality and attention to detail matter. 

What We’re Looking For 

• 2 years of TIG welding experience 
• 2 years of MIG welding experience 
• Experience welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel 
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 
• Familiarity with welding safety procedures 
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity 
• Aerospace or similar manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required 
• Welding certifications such as AWS or ASME are a plus, but not required 
• Comfortable working around heat and in confined work areas 
• Able to perform hands-on welding work for extended periods 

What You’ll Do 

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. 
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. 
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping them before welding. 
• Inspect completed welds to make sure they meet quality requirements. 
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools. 
• Follow workplace safety procedures and keep your work area clean. 
• Work with the team to meet production goals and deadlines. 

TIG Experience 

You should have experience with: 

• TIG welding aluminum 
• TIG welding stainless steel 
• TIG welding carbon steel 
• Reading blueprints and welding symbols 

MIG Experience 

You should have experience with: 

• MIG welding carbon steel 
• MIG welding stainless steel 
• Reading blueprints and welding symbols 

Welding Skills Test 

As part of the interview process, you’ll complete a hands-on welding test demonstrating your skills on: 

• Carbon steel 
• Stainless steel 
• Aluminum 

You’re welcome to bring your own welding helmet and gloves for the test. If you don’t have them, the necessary equipment will be provided.
