Job Duties- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and welding symbols.
- Assemble, fit, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials prior to welding.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist with additional production and fabrication duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience with measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Ability to pass a welding test, if required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent).
- Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum.
- Previous fabrication or manufacturing experience.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
