May Street Surgi Center has multiple GI endoscopy procedure rooms with state-of-the art safety and diagnostic equipment, in addition to recovery bays for added privacy and convenient parking. We are confident that patients will find May Street Surgi Center to be a very pleasant, safe and convenient alternative to hospital-based endoscopy.
We are currently searching for a Per Diem Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to work Mondays – Fridays, and one Saturday per Month; who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, IV Certified, ECG interpretation, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
