What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Coordinator position at AMSURG?
Weston Outpatient Surgical Center is a 5OR, 4 procedure room ASC that is looking for a medially trained professional for our pre-operative admitting department (OMP). This individual would be responsible for collecting necessary patient information including demographics, past medical history, medications, and any clearances needed to prepare for surgery. It also entails working closely with our physicians' offices and schedulers. Candidate must have some medical background (MA, LPN) and be able to fluently communicate in both English and Spanish. 32-36 hours per week, 8:30am-5pm, full time with benefits, 8 paid holidays/year.
