Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Computer Numerical Control Programmer "CNC Programmer" Engineer for our Camp Hill facility. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes, equipment, and CNC operations to meet quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and eliminate safety hazards through engineering solutions.
· Diagnose and resolve machine tool issues in collaboration with maintenance and external contractors.
· Develop, refine, and optimize CNC programs for lathes, VMCs, and HMCs.
· Select and implement CNC tooling to improve part quality, cycle time, and tool life.
· Design workholding and fixtures for machining operations.
· Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve flow.
· Train and develop team members in CNC operations.
Minimum Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience.
· Strong mechanical and machine design capabilities.
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
· Experience with 2D/3D CAD software (CREO preferred).
· Hands-on experience applying Lean tools such as 5S, setup reduction, TPM, VSM, and flow manufacturing.
Physical Requirements
Must have full range of body motion. Some tasks may require repetitive bending, squatting, and full arm extension. Manual lifting, not exceeding 50 pounds, may be required. Must be able to move throughout various manufacturing environments.
The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000. The exact salary will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a competitive bonus program based on individual and company performance.
