Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to help oversee the daily operations at our 3PL center. Our company is a tight-knit team in a boutique warehouse space (under 20,000 sqft) with 10 staff members, where everyone plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. If you're someone who takes ownership of tasks and doesn't mind wearing multiple hats, this could be the role for you.
You'll work closely with the owner and lead a dynamic team, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, improving workflow, and supporting evolving e-commerce projects for a range of clients. This is a hands-on role where your contributions directly impact the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including scheduling, order picking, loading/unloading shipments, and cycle counting.
- Supervise a team of at least 4 full-time employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Use our Warehouse Management System (ShipHero) to track inventory, process orders, and manage stock movements.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring products are delivered on time and meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize workflows and find opportunities for operational improvements.
- Drive the implementation of new processes and procedures to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly, even as client needs evolve.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use, including forklifts.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment by adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
- Take on other tasks as assigned by the owner.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center leadership role, with experience in direct supervising of employees.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce order fulfillment processes.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems, with experience in ShipHero, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of order inventory processes, including PO receiving, picking, and shipping.
- Ability to safely operate stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts (skills test required).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and internal team coordination.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with IOS-based devices.
