The Role

At AMS, we’re building teams that are curious, collaborative, and committed to doing great work. We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter - Early Careers & Campus who enjoys learning and values teamwork.


The Senior Recruiter will support client hiring managers with filling their campus / early careers hiring demand. They are responsible for ensuring all quality thresholds and SLA/KPIs are met.


The role includes planning and executing campus recruitment activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels, acting as the custodian of candidate quality and the hiring manager experience, working in conjunction with onsite and offshore campus colleagues.


The Senior Recruiter will work closely with the Management Team Lead, recruiters & coordinators to ensure high-quality recruitment services and a smooth recruitment process.


Reports to EC&C Senior Manager


This role is based in Charlotte, NC: 3 days/week.


Key Accountabilities


Client Stakeholder Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with hiring managers and key stakeholders, ensuring effective delivery of end-to-end campus recruitment services.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and insights on recruitment processes, timelines, and best practices to ensure expectations are clearly defined and consistently met.
  • Lead discussions on attraction strategies in collaboration with TL, CSM/SM, and the Head of Early Careers / Junior Talent, aligning approaches with market trends and hiring needs.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, participating in regular engagement forums to strengthen relationships, enhance process understanding, and drive service satisfaction.


Internal Stakeholder Relationships

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with CoE teams and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless client and candidate experience.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to Recruiters and Coordinators, promoting best practices and alignment with client culture to support their performance and development.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for reporting, governance, and data requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of insights to support decision-making.


Recruitment Delivery

  • Ensure all recruitment activities are delivered in line with contractual obligations and agreed service level agreements.
  • Lead vacancy intake and consultation sessions with hiring managers in partnership with TL/CSM/SM, defining recruitment strategies and documenting agreed outcomes.
  • Work closely with the campus recruitment team to build strong candidate pipelines and deliver high-quality shortlists through to assessment centres.
  • Drive an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from initial engagement to onboarding, in collaboration with coordinators and offshore teams.
  • Support hiring managers in decision-making, facilitating calibration sessions and managing the offer process to secure top talent.
  • Proactively anticipate and address stakeholder challenges, escalating where necessary, and apply insights from across teams to continuously enhance delivery.
  • Contribute to wider projects and initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and added value, including potential upsell opportunities.


Technology and Compliance

  • Ensure all candidate and requisition updates are accurately maintained in real time across relevant systems and trackers.
  • Support effective contract management by identifying and flagging any scope creep.
  • Maintain full compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements, including data protection and employment guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks in line with the AMS Risk Management Framework, ensuring issues are tracked, escalated, mitigated, and documented promptly.


Skills & Requirements


Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of end-to-end recruitment delivery with preferred expertise in early careers and campus
  • Understanding of campus marketing and attraction strategies (e.g. events, networking, social media and university relations)
  • Experience of using recruitment technology
  • Working knowledge of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors, OFCCP)


Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working within a highly complex or matrixed organisation
  • Experience of working with remote teams
  • Experience of using databases
  • Demonstrate interest in learning about the broader market, industry to be able to build network and provide great market insights to client and different workstreams

  • remuneration is 75,430 - 99,300 USD, plus applicable benefits.


This range is specific to the advertised locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
