Medical Receptionist – Full-Time
Medical office in Midtown is seeking a reliable, experienced, and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist.
This is a full-time position consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, with weekend availability required. Our clinic is open 7 days a week, including evenings.

Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
- Greet and check patients in and out
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Determine patient financial responsibility, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance
- Collect and accurately post patient payments (cash, credit card, etc.)
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Provide patients with basic information regarding office services, providers, and costs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and clinic environment
- Enter patient demographic information into the EMR system
- Scan and upload patient documentation into the EMR
- Operate and maintain fax, copier, and other office equipment
- Coordinate patient care and communication
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience required
- Knowledge of medical insurance and the ability to explain benefits to patients
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and self-motivated
