Responsibilities:
Maintain current code levels and perform upgrades as needed.
Ensure host compatibility with ONTAP versions prior to ONTAP upgrades
Perform day to day allocation/cleanup/troubleshooting activities
Monitor Netapp arrays for capacity concerns and propose/implement solutions
Open support cases with vendor and act as POC for support issues.
Data Infrastructure Insights SME and Workload Factory SME from NetApp
DII is critical to FSxN monitoring, alerting, and capacity management
Upgrades and configures both DII and Workload Factory
Works with SRE to develop the Golden Signals dashboard
Develops required reports and dashboard to monitor and report on configuration drift
SME with OnTap and FSxN. Provides input and direction on alerting thresholds and configuration items.
Helps in troubleshooting FSxN performance issues.
Performance upgrades to DII and Workload Factory
Developing Cost Savings Dashboard for AWS/FSxN
