Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Center Engineer to support the installation, replacement, and deployment of Cisco switches and firewalls at client locations.
Responsibilities:
- Visit the client site and assess installation requirements.
- Plan and prepare for hardware installation.
- Mount and install Cisco switches and firewalls.
- Configure hardware in coordination with the FSL (Field Service Lead) team.
- Perform failover testing to verify network redundancy and functionality.
- Remove old or existing hardware as part of the replacement process.
- Verify connectivity and ensure all installation tasks are completed successfully.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Cisco switches and firewalls.
- Experience with network hardware installation, mounting, and cabling.
- Basic understanding of hardware configuration and connectivity testing.
- Knowledge of failover testing and network redundancy.
- Ability to work onsite and coordinate with the FSL team.
