Maintaining mining processing equipment is crucial for efficient operations. As a Night Shift Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that the equipment is in a state of readiness at all times.
The job requires performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment. You will need to schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks based on the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and company procedures.
In addition to maintaining equipment, you will also be responsible for managing inventory of regularly required replacement parts. This includes inspecting the condition and operation of plant equipment and performing necessary repairs and adjustments.
Emergency repairs are also a critical aspect of this role. You will need to respond quickly to address plant breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to production.
