What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Recovery Associate I position at AMR Resources LLC?
As a Recovery Associate you will be responsible for the separation of regulated waste and e-waste from recyclable waste, performing cleaning and site maintenances, maintaining site organization, and other light duties as required. Yard Rangers are required to understand, maintain, and uphold EPA and other state and federal regulations while performing their daily duties. Yard Rangers must also be able to properly identify, classify, and handle regulated waste, e-waste, recyclable waste, and hazardous waste.
Responsibilities
Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Locates and packs materials for shipping.
Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Previous stock or inventory experience a plus
Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus
