Role Overview
The ServiceNow Process Owner / Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing enterprise service management processes on the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on driving automation, ensuring process standardization, and establishing governance frameworks to maximize efficiency, compliance, and scalability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end ITSM / ESM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, etc.)
• Define process strategy, KPIs, and continuous improvement roadmaps
• Align processes with frameworks like ITIL
• Identify opportunities for automation using ServiceNow capabilities (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, etc.)
• Governance & Compliance
• Establish governance models for platform usage, development, and releases
• Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors
• Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor for digital workflow transformation
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.)
• Experience with automation tools (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, APIs)
• Knowledge of system integrations, data architecture, and cloud platforms
• Deep understanding of ITIL practices
• Experience defining governance frameworks and operating models
• Strong background in process re-engineering and optimization
