Join our dynamic and collaborative Legal team as an Associate General Counsel, where you'll have the opportunity to shape key business decisions and make a meaningful impact across our Americas regional operations. In this role, you'll advise on a wide range of legal matters including corporate law, commercial contracting, M&A, and franchise operations. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, you'll also provide strategic support to our Compliance function and partner closely with leaders across the business on commercial initiatives.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping them navigate legal challenges, assess risks, and drive growth with confidence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Contract duties include structuring, drafting, and reviewing a wide range of legal documents and contracts
  • Conduct legal research related to various corporate projects such as marketing, pricing and new business models
  • Revise and develop new company forms and template contracts, in addition to recommending changes and process improvements
  • Lead and interface as needed with outside counsel on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiation of legal terms, drafting transaction documents including schedules, closing agendas, and corporate minutes, and coordinating post-closing integration and other activities
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and training on legal topics and partner with corporate to achieve company goals and objectives

Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school, with an active license to practice law in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive legal experience in corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, or law firm practice
  • Demonstrated experience providing legal counsel to internal stakeholders or in-house clients
  • Industry experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or medical devices
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents using modern legal technology tools
  • Ability to effectively translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance for business teams
  • Strong business acumen and practical judgment in applying legal principles within a commercial context

Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Prior experience working within a global corporate organization is strongly preferred
  • Proven expertise in corporate legal matters, including contract law, M&A, licensing, corporate governance, fiduciary duties, and franchise law is preferred
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and responsiveness to shifting business priorities and fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated administrative and managerial capabilities
  • High level of analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations

Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be$185,000-$200,000 plus an incentive bonus
