We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function for a growing, multi-location dealership group. This individual will oversee all financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and provide strategic insight to support profitability and operational performance.
This is a high-impact leadership role suited for someone who understands dealership operations, inventory turns, and the financial drivers behind high-value unit sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, business activity reports, and cash flow forecasts
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger across dealership management and accounting systems
- Oversee all accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and inventory control
- Manage unit-based inventory accounting, floorplan reconciliation, and cost tracking
- Analyze financial performance including margins, F&I performance, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses
- Lead, develop, and manage the accounting team
- Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and lender/floorplan partners
- Coordinate audits and maintain proper documentation and internal controls
- Establish and refine accounting processes within a dealership environment
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 to 8 years of accounting experience within a dealership environment
- Experience with IDS, Lightspeed DMS, or comparable dealership management software required
- Industry experience required in Powersports, Marine, or RV
- Strong understanding of inventory-driven businesses and unit economics
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-location environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
