General Purpose
The Nursing Supervisor oversees nursing staff and daily clinical operations while providing direct patient care. This role ensures efficient patient flow, maintains high standards of care, and promotes a culturally sensitive, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate nursing staff
- Support clinic operations and maintain efficient patient flow
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development
- Oversee medical supplies, vaccines, and equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
- Participate in quality improvement (CQI) and staff training initiatives
- Facilitate staff meetings and maintain required documentation
- Support providers with patient care and clinical procedures as needed
- Resolve staff and patient concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Valid California LVN license required
- Current CPR certification required
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in outpatient or primary care setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Work Environment
Clinic setting requiring prolonged standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and potential exposure to infectious materials.
Salary : $36 - $52
