Ampla Health is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered dental team. Under the supervision of the RDA Lead, the DA plays a key role in supporting providers, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring a smooth clinic flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet, seat, and dismiss patients; assist with steady patient flow
- Provide oral hygiene instruction and dental education
- Assist with chairside procedures, suctioning, and curing materials
- Take digital x-rays, impressions, and perform pulp tests
- Set up and sterilize exam rooms and dental instruments
- Maintain operatory stock and cleanliness
- Comply with OSHA regulations and participate in trainings and CQI activities
- Support flexible staffing needs across multiple clinic locations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and Dental Assistant (DA) certificate required
- Current CPR certification
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using multiple systems and working in a fast-paced environment
