We are seeking an Office Manager to support the Senior Director of CBS Engineering in driving organizational and strategic priorities across a global engineering organization spanning Valley Green PA, Raleigh NC, Santa Clara CA, China, Taiwan, and Israel. This is a dual-scope role: at the strategic level, the person will act as a trusted right hand to the Senior Director, helping translate priorities into action across a distributed leadership team; at the operational level, the person will own day-to-day site management of the RTP facility and provide direct administrative and logistical support to the Senior Director. This role suits someone with a strong process and continuous-improvement background who can bring structure, rigor, and follow-through to a fast-moving engineering organization.
Strategic Support
- Partner with the Senior Director to execute organizational and strategic priorities across the CBS Engineering organization, tracking follow-through on key initiatives
- Prepare, organize, and help synthesize content for leadership reviews, strategic planning sessions, and cross-site staff meetings
- Support planning and coordination for organizational initiatives, including headcount planning, initiative tracking, and cross-functional communication across global sites
- Act as a central point of coordination between the Senior Director and directors/managers across global sites
- Apply structured problem-solving and process-improvement methods to streamline organizational operations, meeting cadences, and reporting
- Manage confidential and sensitive organizational matters with sound judgment and discretion
RTP Site / Office Management
- Serve as the on-site manager for the Research Triangle Park facility, overseeing day-to-day office operations, vendor coordination, and facility needs
- Coordinate on-site logistics for visiting leadership, customers, and cross-site teams, including meeting and event planning
- Own facility-related administrative processes and serve as the primary point of contact for site-level operational issues
Executive Support
- Manage travel planning and coordination for the Senior Director, including complex, multi-site international itineraries
- Prepare and reconcile expense reports in accordance with company policy
- Support calendar and scheduling priorities as needed to ensure alignment with organizational strategic priorities
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years experience as an office manager or in executive-support capacity, preferably within an engineering or technical organization
- Demonstrated business leadership experience, including managing priorities across multiple stakeholders or sites
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to apply data-driven and process-improvement methods to organizational operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface confidently with senior leadership
- High degree of discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential information
- Proficiency with standard office and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office/365, expense and travel systems)
- Manufacturing experience, or a background in a manufacturing business environment, a plus
- Experience supporting a globally distributed organization across multiple time zones and cultures
- Familiarity with lean/continuous-improvement methodologies beyond Six Sigma (e.g., Lean, Kaizen)
