Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wire solutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for high performance and cloud compute applications. We are currently seeking an E-1 Licensed Electrician to join our team in Hamden, CT.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Factory electrical maintenance
- Abating unused machine drops
- Installing electrical drops for new machinery
- Disconnecting, reconnecting machinery as needed
- Facilities electrical maintenance
- Trouble shooting machine controls
- Installing, upgrading PLC programming
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years’ experience as a licensed electrician working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and electrically maintain machinery, install electrical drops, wire new and used equipment
- Ability to program, troubleshoot and repair Siemens and Allen Bradly PLCs, as well as other control systems
- Familiarity with the FIXX cmms is a plus
