Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm Position Summary:
The EHS Coordinator supports environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a strong safety culture, and partners with leadership to reduce workplace risks through training, audits, employee engagement, and proactive safety initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and daily/weekly safety walk-throughs
Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Maintain safety records, including OSHA logs and training documentation
Support environmental programs (waste handling, chemical management, SDS)
Assist with onboarding new hires, including safety orientation and training
Deliver ongoing safety training and reinforce safe work practices on the floor
Track safety metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with emergency preparedness and PPE programs
Lead and facilitate the site Safety Committee (if established), including coordinating meetings and tracking action items
Develop and implement proactive safety programs focused on hazard identification, prevention, and employee engagement
Establish and manage a system for employees to report safety concerns, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up
Promote employee participation in safety initiatives, including recognition or incentive programs for proactive safety contributions
Analyze safety trends, near-misses, and observations to drive continuous improvement and reduce workplace risk Qualifications: 2 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
