Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Assist in accounting responsibilities around procurement
- Manage Fixed Asset accounting
- Administer the month-end close application
- Accounting administration of financial system
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for complex accounts
- Assist in building and implementing accounting controls
- Assist in creating accounting policies and procedures
Technical Skills:
- IFRS/GAAP (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Cost Accounting (including standard costing, variance analysis, and COGS tracking)
- Inventory Accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
- ERP Systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling, macros)
- Sarbanes/Oxley and internal controls framework
Bonus Qualifications:
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, supply chain finance, or production planning systems
- Energy Sector Knowledge: Experience working on projects related to smart grids, renewable energy, or energy management platforms is a plus
- CPA (Active or Inactive)

Compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
