About The Role
Join our Silicon Validation Team as a System Level Validation Engineer Intern where you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience validating the next generation of high-performance Ampere processors. You’ll work beside a team of highly skilled engineers with the objective of delivering high quality Ampere products to the customer on time.
The Ampere Internship program focuses on you to build your networks, support your efforts in making an impact, and gives you exposure to what Ampere does and how Ampere operates across the company. We want you to leave with the feeling that what you've worked on made a difference, a new level of confidence in what you're capable of, technical expertise, and a new network of contacts.
Internship period is full-time for summer 2026 (May/June - August/September)
What You’ll Achieve
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

What You’ll Achieve
- Participate in the development and automation of system level tests of our next-gene Ampere CPUs.
- Contribute to the development of the automation environment to improve efficiency and coverage in silicon validation.
- Gain experience in a great teamwork environment focused in development.
- Collaborate with experienced System validation engineers to understand test methodology, hardware-software interaction, and data analysis techniques, different validation phases and scripting.
- Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software benchmarks.
- Solid C/C Programming skills.
- Talented in scripting with Python.
- Experienced in Linux environments, including scripting and system operations.
- Deep understanding of CPU Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Oscilloscopes.
- Additional skills highly desired: Previous Post-Silicon Validation Experience, Test Case Development.
