AMPed Hybrid Academy is seeking a full-time Lower Elementary Teacher (K–2) to join our team this school year. This role is ideal for an experienced, flexible educator who thrives in small class settings and is confident differentiating instruction within a mixed-age lower elementary cohort.

Responsibilities
- Teach students in a Lower Elementary (K–2) mixed-age cohort
- Plan and deliver instruction differentiated by age, readiness, and learning needs
- Facilitate whole-group, small-group, and individualized instruction
- Use formative assessment to guide instruction and flexible grouping
- Integrate core subjects through project-based and interdisciplinary learning
- Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and student support
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or teaching certification
- Elementary teaching experience (Lower Elementary preferred)
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
Preferred
- Experience teaching in mixed-age classrooms
- Familiarity with project-based, inquiry-based, or student-centered instruction
- Comfort working in a small-school or alternative education setting
