- Manufacturing systems engineering under Kuiper prod-ops is responsible for delivering test software, test hardware and test frameworks that improve speed and quality of testing of satellite components.
- We partner with engineering and production teams to bring reliability and repeatability to our test systems, improve throughput and accelerate the transition. We are looking for a Operations Test Engineer who ensures the smooth and reliable operation of Kuiper Test Systems by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements.
- They also contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks. A Test Operations Engineer role typically combines quality assurance, test automation, and operational support. The role often serves as a bridge between development, testing, and operations teams, requiring both technical expertise and strong collaborative abilities.

- Primary Responsibilities:
- Test Environment Management
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments.
- Manage test infrastructure and tools.
- Configure and maintain continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Handle test data management and database administration.
- Understand and Troubleshoot Test Executive/NI Teststand Sequence Execution and ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Systems, preferably in satellite facility labs.
- Work directly with Manufacturing Engineers (MEs) on test station issues.
- Maintain and optimize test station network infrastructure.
- Debug communication issues between test equipment and control systems.
- Support production testing operations.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
