The role of a Senior SharePoint Developer and Power Platform specialist is integral within any organization that relies on Microsoft technologies for business solutions. These experts are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint applications and leveraging Power Platform tools to create robust, scalable, and efficient workflows.

Technical Skills and Experience

• SharePoint Development
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online: Must have a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and development techniques.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx): Expertise in building client-side web parts, extensions, and other custom solutions using SPFx.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Designer and InfoPath: Ability to design workflows and forms that streamline business processes.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint APIs: Familiarity with REST APIs, CSOM, JSOM, and SOAP services for effective integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Mastery of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end development.
  • Knowledge of server-side programming: Adept in C#, ASP.NET, and other server-side technologies for backend development.
  • Experience with PowerShell: Ability to automate administrative tasks and manage SharePoint environments using PowerShell scripts.
  • Database Management: Understanding of SQL Server and its integration with SharePoint.
  • Nintex forms and workflows
• Power Platform Expertise
  • Experience with PowerApps: Ability to create custom apps that solve specific business needs.
  • Proficiency in Power Automate: Expertise in designing and implementing automated workflows.
  • Knowledge of Power BI: Ability to develop interactive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse: Understanding of the Common Data Service (CDS) for secure data storage and management.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer, Power Platform Developer, and others are highly desirable.

Top 3 Required Skills:

• Adept in C#, ASP.NET, and other server-side technologies for backend development
• Mastery of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end development.
• Proficient in developing MS Power Platform applications, including Mobile app development

Preferred Years of Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years working directly with and or using SharePoint

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field: A solid educational foundation is essential.
• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalency
