We are looking for a Senior Azure Network & Security Compliance Engineer to be positioned at client location, Atlanta to address long‑standing, high‑risk vulnerabilities identified across our Azure environment over the last 4 years. This is a critical risk‑remediation role focused on closing open risk register items, strengthening network and identity security, and enforcing compliance at enterprise scale. The resource is required to be based in Atlanta and operate from the client office.

This is a critical risk‑remediation role focused on closing open risk register items, strengthening network and identity security, and enforcing compliance at enterprise scale. The resource is required to be based in Atlanta and operate from the client office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead remediation of critical and high‑risk vulnerabilities across Azure network, security, and platform layers.
- Drive assessment and remediation of 30,000 shared and service accounts flagged as vulnerable, partnering closely with IAM and security teams.
- Design, review, and harden Azure network architectures (VNETs, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute/VPN).
- Enforce network and resource compliance using Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and governance frameworks.
- Implement scalable remediation using automation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Act as a technical lead, advising stakeholders on risk, impact, and remediation strategy.
- AZ‑700 certification (mandatory).
- 8 years of networking and security experience with a strong Azure focus.
- Deep expertise in Azure networking, security controls, and compliance enforcement.
- Proven experience handling large‑scale risk and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, shared account risks, and zero‑trust principles.
- Onsite presence required at the client location in Atlanta.
