Job Title: Java Backend Developer Job Location: Columbus, OH Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spring Framework to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clean code, robust architecture, and delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, QA, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 ).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.
- Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to test-driven development (TDD).
- Understanding of DevOps practices.
