Rendering Artist / Graphics Designer

Ampa Events is seeking a talented Rendering Artist / Graphics Designer to help bring event concepts to life through compelling visualizations, graphics, and production-ready artwork. This role combines creative design, technical drawing, event visualization, and emerging AI-assisted creative tools to support the development and execution of live events, experiential activations, branded environments, and custom fabrication projects.
The ideal candidate is a highly creative visual thinker who can transform ideas into clear, engaging renderings that help clients envision the final experience while supporting the production team with accurate design documentation.
- Develop detailed event renderings, environmental visualizations, and presentation graphics for client proposals and internal planning.
- Create concept artwork, mood boards, branded environments, signage packages, and event graphics.
- Utilize AI-powered image generation tools to rapidly develop concepts, explore creative directions, and enhance visualization workflows.
- Produce technical drawings and layouts to support fabrication, installation, and event production.
- Collaborate with sales, design, production, and fabrication teams to ensure designs can be executed efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare client-facing presentations and visual materials that communicate design intent clearly and professionally.
- Create and maintain graphic assets, templates, and design standards.
- Assist in developing production-ready artwork for large-format printing, signage, environmental graphics, and custom scenic elements.
- Understand event production methods, materials, fabrication techniques, and installation requirements when developing designs.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and occasional event installations as needed.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure all renderings, artwork, and documentation are completed on schedule.
- Support inventory cataloging, asset management, and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in environmental design, event design, experiential marketing, exhibit design, graphic design, interior design, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong working knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAd, and/or Vectorworks.
- Experience with Enscape, VRay, and Twinmotion a plus
- Experience utilizing AI image-generation and visualization platforms as part of the creative process.
- Ability to create high-quality renderings that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion, Unreal Engine, or other real-time rendering software.
- Familiarity with large-format printing and production artwork preparation.
- Understanding of scenic fabrication, construction methods, and event installation processes.
- Photography, video editing, or motion graphics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally assist with event setup, installation, and strike.
- Ability to travel and work evenings or weekends as project schedules require.
