We have residences in: Penn Hills, Wilkinsburg, Homestead, Braddock Hills, Verona, & New Kensington and are hiring for both full-time and part-time shifts.

Job Summary

AMP Residential is seeking a dedicated and energetic Direct Support Professional's to join our residential team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health and clinical support to individuals with complex needs, including developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and mental health challenges. We need energetic staff that are willing to learn and/or use their experience and make a difference in a person's life.

Rate of pay:

Base Rate for all placements: $17.00 - 17.50/hr depending on experience.

Supplemental pay: up to $22.50/hr based on shift assigned

We have paid training and a great work environment.

$1,000 retention bonus and an unlimited $500 referral bonus.

AMP is hiring for the following shifts for this specific position:

Full-time, 8am-4pm Monday through Friday (Lead DSP)

Full-time, 4pm-12am Monday through Friday (Weekday 2nd Shift)

Part-time, 10am-12am Sunday (Weekend Day Shift)

Note: Weekday shifts may be combined with certain Weekend openings to give employees full-time or part-time hours.

Note: To be considered for the Lead DSP position, applicants must have the following experience:

• Lead DSP applicants must have a minimum of 5-years experience in the field of Residential care/dual-diagnosis care
• At least 2-years experience as a team lead, lead DSP, house manager, or supervisor in residential care. Knowledge of 6100/6400 and experience in passing medications and using a paper or electronic MAR, is required.
• AMP requires the Lead DSP, in addition to all the duties of being a direct support professional, you will participate in doctor's appointments, oversee paperwork, manage the food, household, & gas budgets, and ensure vehicle maintenance.

Requirements for hire:

AMP requires a 6-8 day orientation, 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. All training dates must be attended. No days can be missed.

Additionally, once hired you must attend all monthly meetings, quarterly 8-hour in person trainings, and annual trainings as required by 6100 / 6400 regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License
• Access to a personal Vehicle that can be used daily
• Minimum of a G.E.D. or High School Diploma
• The ability to always learn, grow and have the positive attitude required to care for challenging individuals.
• Be able to attend all required orientation dates.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour

• Positions for this role are located in our New Kensington residence: New Kensington, 15068. Applicants must have a personal & reliable vehicle for transportation and be willing to commute to the New Kensington residence daily.
