What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties
- Administer medications according to established procedures
- Support individuals during community outings and activities
- Observe and document important information regarding individual care
- Promote health, safety, dignity, and overall well-being
- Encourage independence and personal growth

Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background screenings
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
Preferred
- Previous experience in caregiving, human services, direct support, healthcare, or behavioral health
- NADSP certifications (DSP-I, DSP-II, DSP-III)
No experience is required. We provide all necessary training.
Locations
Penn Residential operates houses in Herminie, Irwin, Jeannette, North Huntingdon, Penn Township, and surrounding areas.

- Starting pay may be higher based on relevant experience and current NADSP certifications (DSP-I, DSP-II, DSP-III).
- Referral bonus paid after referred employee maintains employment for 90 days.
