We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance toan elderley Urdu speaking woman. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Support patients with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Provide patient observation, monitor changes in condition, and communicate updates to healthcare professionals as needed
- Help with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety
- Maintain accurate care plans, document patient progress, and adhere to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality
- Support clients with home & community care tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and transportation for appointments or errands
Skills
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and patient transfer methods safely
- Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior promptly
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care or home health environments is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
