About the Role
As Manager of Global Digital Creative Strategy, you'll be a core member of the team building Laneige's digital creative center of excellence. You'll help develop campaigns and content strategies that are native to digital — built to perform on TikTok, Amazon, brand.com, and retailer environments worldwide. You will be tasked with translating them into frameworks that regional markets can activate with confidence. This is a role for someone who understands the craft behind content that works: why one video gets traction and another doesn't, what makes a product page convert, how a campaign can feel locally resonant while being globally coherent. You'll work closely with the Director and partner cross-functionally with creative, brand, and regional teams.

This role is critical to unlocking Laneige’s growth in global markets within digital channels (both retail and community). Scaling growth on digital channels will result in halo growth in physical locations as well, so it’s crucial we drive excellence here.

Responsibilities
[Campaign & Content Strategy]
- Support the development of global digital-first campaign strategies, with responsibility for building out the content frameworks and platform-specific strategies within each campaign.
- Develop content strategies across TikTok (organic and Shop), Instagram, YouTube, Amazon, brand.com, and retailer.com — with a clear rationale for what gets made, in what format, and for which platform.
- Build activation toolkits and market-ready playbooks that regional teams can use to localize and execute global campaigns.
- Act as a digital strategy resource for regions without dedicated TikTok Shop, Amazon, or e-commerce content capability.
[Discoverability & Platform Performance]
- Bring platform and algorithm expertise to the content strategy process — ensuring discoverability considerations (SEO, social algorithms, Amazon search) are built into campaign strategy from the start.
- Partner with the copywriter and creative team to brief content with the right platform context, format specs, and performance objectives.
- Track platform updates and content performance trends; bring relevant insights and recommendations to the team on an ongoing basis.
[E-Commerce Content Strategy]
- Contribute to content strategies for brand.com, retailer.com, and marketplace environments — including PDP strategy, A content direction, and platform-specific storytelling.
- Ensure e-commerce content strategy is aligned with the broader campaign while meeting platform-specific performance standards.
[Cross-Functional & Regional Coordination]
- Coordinate with regional marketing teams to support campaign activation, answer strategic questions, and gather local insights that improve future global strategy.
- Collaborate with brand, creative, media, and retail partners to ensure content strategy is integrated across all touchpoints.
- Support communication and alignment with Seoul HQ on digital priorities and campaign rollouts.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years in digital marketing, content strategy, or creative strategy, ideally within beauty or a consumer lifestyle brand.
- Strong working knowledge of how content performs across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Amazon, and DTC environments (including platform algorithm basics and content best practices).
- Familiarity with SEO/AI search, Amazon search, and e-commerce content (PDP, A content). You don't need to be a technical SEO specialist, but you understand how discoverability works and how to design for it.
- Experience working within or alongside global or multi-market organizations is a strong plus.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and workstreams across regions and time zones.
- Strong written and verbal communicator (able to translate strategy into clear creative direction and regional guidance).
- Genuine curiosity about where digital content and commerce are going.
Required Skills
- Strong commercial mindset with key digital traffic and conversion drivers: Social (paid/organic), Display, Amazon, Retailer.com, and DTC.
- Data-driven and analytical approach to content optimization.
- Hands-on execution capability with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across global and local teams.
- Strong understanding of: Digital ecosystem, Ecommerce content and conversion, Paid digital channels.
